Loyalty Builders was founded in 1999 to help clients forecast customer behavior and become more customer-centric.  From the beginning we have been employee-owned and have relied on the help and advice we have received from our outside investor Arthur Ventures.

Mark Klein, Ph.D., Chief Executive Officer

As Chairman and CEO of Loyalty Builders, Dr. Mark Klein combines his background in the sciences with his entrepreneurial spirit to push the limits of modern-day marketing. Before embarking on his latest effort, he founded and later sold three software companies: IE Systems, Channel Computing and Edge Research, where he held chairman and CEO positions. IE Systems specialized in micro-mainframe communications. Channel Computing developed and sold two products designed by Dr. Klein, including Forest & Trees and InfoPump. His third company, Edge Research, created middleware and tools specifically designed for Lotus Notes. Upon Lotus's purchase of Edge Research in 1994, Dr. Klein joined Lotus Development Corporation and IBM as General Manager for Enterprise Integration, a position he held until founding Loyalty Builders in 1999. Prior to embarking on his entrepreneurial efforts, Dr. Klein spent several years teaching and doing research in theoretical physics at various universities including Bryn Mawr College, University of Wisconsin, UCLA, University of Colorado, and University of New Hampshire. Dr. Klein holds a Ph.D. in physics from Indiana University.

Dennis R. Erdle, President and Chief Operating Officer

As President and COO of Loyalty Builders Dennis is responsible for the company’s operations and driving the business plan with innovative sales, marketing, and services strategies.  Dennis has 25 years of experience in the technology industry with companies like Microsoft and Great Plains Software and as a principal of a business consulting company.  At Microsoft he was General Manager of Pricing and Licensing for the Business solutions division and Senior Director of Business Development responsible for assessing growth opportunities and potential acquisitions.  At Great Plains Software Dennis held many senior leadership roles such Senior VP of US Operations responsible for all Sales, Marketing, Services, and revenue.  As GM of Dynamics he led all aspects of this industry leading ERP business solution and prior to that as VP of Global Services the company received numerous industry awards for outstanding service to customers and partners.  Dennis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND.

Loren David Meeker, Ph.D., Chief Mathematician

In his role as chief mathematician, Dr. Meeker is focused on the development of Loyalty Builders’ mathematical models. Dr. Meeker’s academic research involves the application, adaptation, or development of mathematical tools within collaborative investigations of social, financial, biological, and physical systems. In 1991 he became a member of the Climate Change Research Center at the University of New Hampshire (UNH) where he was responsible for the mathematical and statistical components of the Center’s paleoclimate and atmospheric chemistry investigations. Dr. Meeker joined the UNH mathematics faculty in 1971 and served as chair of the mathematics department in 1990 and 1991. He has been a visiting professor at various universities in the UK, Scotland, Brazil and Australia and previously served as a member of the Rutgers University mathematics department. Dr. Meeker has also authored and co-authored over 85 peer-reviewed publications. Previously a professional rider on the rodeo circuit, Dr. Meeker received a Ph.D. in mathematics from Stanford University.

Brian Jenkins, Chief Technology Officer

In his role as vice president of development and CTO, Brian Jenkins is responsible for the technology infrastructure at Loyalty Builders. Jenkins has more than 20 years of technology. Prior to joining Loyalty Builders, Jenkins was the director of development and chief architect at Newmarket International where he produced an application development system for Windows which was used to create Delphi, the most widely used group sales system for the hospitality industry. In the early 1990s, he wrote the first Windows graphical report writer for the award-winning EIS product -- Forest & Trees -- by Channel Computing. Jenkins received his B.S. in Computer Science from San Francisco State University and is a Microsoft Great Plains Certified Integration Developer.

Leslie Parker, Chief Financial Officer

As CFO of Loyalty Builders, Leslie Parker is charged with overseeing the financial and administrative management of the company. Prior to joining Loyalty Builders, Parker served in a variety of financial management roles for companies including Edge Research, a software developer of middleware for large corporations, Channel Computing, developer of Forest & Trees and InfoPump and Honeywell. Parker holds a B.A. from the University of Minnesota and a M.B.A. from Simmons College School of Management in Boston.

Bill Vorias, Vice President of Client Services

As VP of Client Services, Bill Vorias is responsible for delivering predictive analytics and marketing insights to our client base.  For several clients, his team of database experts, mathematicians and marketing specialists also handle many aspects of campaign execution. Vorias has worked in numerous industry verticals, from insurance and casualty to the gaming industry, so he is able to bring a remarkable combination of statistics and marketing skills to our clients’ marketing efforts.  Vorias hold a B.S. in interdisciplinary mathematics with a concentration in statistics from the University of New Hampshire as well as having considerable graduate-level work in statistics.

Arthur Einstein, Vice President of Communications

As Vice President of Communications, Arthur Einstein is focused on a cohesive communications strategy for Loyalty Builders across all communications mediums. Einstein has worked in the advertising and marketing industry for more than 30 years as a writer, creative director and agency president. Einstein was a co-founder and principal at Lord Geller Federico Einstein and its successor Lord Einstein O'Neill. He has delivered award-winning work for companies such as IBM, The Wall Street Journal, The New Yorker Magazine, Book-of-the-Month Club, The New York Stock Exchange, Tiffany & Co., Steinway, and advised on communications strategy and tactics for companies such as NetGravity, The American Funds, Knowledge Adventure, Compaq, idealab!, and many others. Einstein holds a B.S. in business from the University of North Carolina and an M.A. in communications from Michigan State University.
